Drs. "Theo" & Howden are the only fellowship-trained Urogynecologists in Western North Carolina, & they provide expert consultative care throughout the region. Dr Theofrastous was on the faculty of the MAHEC Dept OB.GYN residency training program from 1995 to 2003, & he continues to provide educational services for residents & medical students. He is experienced in research & has published numerous text book & medical journal publications. Dr. Theofrastous' areas of expertise include urinary & bladder control, prolapse of the vagina, & pelvic floor dysfunction with full diagnostic services, nonsurgical, & surgical management options.
